Thirty years ago we invented the science of language and psychology, and we've been perfecting it ever since. Our history traces back to the 1990s and the seminal work of Receptiviti Co-Founder, Prof. James W. Pennebaker at the University of Texas who began investigating whether analysis of writing could predict mental and physical health, personalities, social behaviours, and cognitive processes.
Since those early days, our science has been the basis for tens of thousands of academic publications covering topics such as organizational psychology, behaviour change, risk, mental health, deception, and more.
For years, we have worked closely with academics around the world, supporting and contributing to their research, gathering data, and continuously improving the informative and predictive quality of our platform.
Today, Receptiviti is the global leader in language psychology, and our ever-expanding customer-base spans industries including financial services, market research, education, medicine, human capital, professional services, and more.
