Research: Airbnb titles and financial performance

With so much selection to choose from, Airbnb hosts need to make sure they are doing everything possible in order to attract a steady flow of guests.
In this article, the authors sought to investigate the relationship between a listing's title and its impact on the property's financial performance. The researchers used LIWC to examine the linguistic styles of 110,167 property titles in seven Asian countries - and found that each country has very different linguistic styles that maximize financial performance.
In conclusion, the authors suggest that consumers' expectation on listing titles varies significantly by country - and that meeting those expectations is linked to increased financial performance.
